Conceptual Statement: This embroidery is a study for a larger project exploring murmuration and resonance. The work is based on resonance (MRI) imaging showing the inside of a human heart. The study feeds into a larger project which was installed in the Women’s Atrium Prison on Constitution Hill in Johannesburg, SA in 2022.
